Real-Time Tracking for a School Bus Fleet
A transport company running 40 buses for private and international schools was planning routes by hand and flying blind once buses left the depot. Parents had no way to see where the bus was, and trips were hard to hold accountable.
We built a real-time vehicle tracking portal with a driver app, a parent portal and a central planning dashboard — so routes run efficiently, parents stay informed, and every journey is on the map.
The Challenge

Route planning
Dynamic route optimisation based on distance and traffic, a central dashboard to assign buses, and fuel-efficiency insights for every route.
Live monitoring & reports
Administrators track every bus on one map, review full journey history, and pull performance reports on punctuality and route efficiency.
The Results
Optimised routes improved efficiency by around 30% and trimmed fuel and travel time. Real-time updates built parent trust, the driver app improved accountability, and centralised management cut admin workload by roughly 40%.
